WELCOME to the website for the Anglican Chaplaincy of Midi-Pyrenees and the Aude. We serve the English-speaking Anglican community of an area approximately the size of Denmark and under normal circumstances meet regularly to worship at the 6 locations shown on the map below.

Because of the current COVID-19 emergency, however, much of our worship is now online, and you are invited to take part via the internet. When the rules permit, you will see however that some actual services are now being held in safe locations, and these are often recorded for broadcast via this website later.

Reverend Dan Langdon-Griffiths has now left the Chaplaincy. We are sure that you will all join us in wishing Dan and his whole family well for the future. We have now received a report from Bishop Trevor Wilmott about past events and the proposals for the future of the Chaplaincy which was circulated to all members of the Chaplaincy and its contents are under consideration. We regret that a copy cannot be placed online yet as some corrections and amendments are being requested and under the provisions of the General Data Protection Regulation which apply to all electronic records, individuals who are identifiable within the report must give their consent before their details can be made public.

For now, our current online service pattern will be maintained by members of the Ministry Team and, if pastoral or personal issues arise,Reverend Tony Lomas, the Area Dean of SW France, who receives all emails sent to the Chaplain@churchimidipa.org  e-mail address, will arrange for someone to contact you. Enquiries about marriage blessings or funerals should be sent to chaplain@churchinmidipa.org and will be responded to as soon as possible

Please do not send personal messages to Dan to the chaplain@ mailbox. Please contact your Deputy Churchwarden if you wish to make contact with Dan.
