How to make your own Palm Cross

This year, unfortunately we will not be able to hand out Palm Crosses this Sunday as you arrive at Church. You COULD perhaps simply 'make do' with last year's cross (unless you gave it back to be burned to create the ashes for Ash Wednesday). OR You could try making your own Cross at home. The video below shows a very quick and easy way to make a Palm Cross, either with a piece of a palm leaf (if you happen to have a palm tree in your garden) or by cutting a strip about 2cm down the long edge of a piece of A4 paper (or lightweight card) and then following the instructions below. Many thanks to the Facebook Page "Curious Wilds At Home" for sharing this easy to follow guide. We hope that you might enjoy making this year's Palm Sunday celebrations extra-special by making your own crosses !
