Mission Day for Cahors

On Sunday 19th May the Cahors worship centre had its Mission day. Our Chaplain Dan introduced it and lead a short act of worship. Then the Revd Joshua Penduck from the diocese of Lichfield lead us in looking at our church. Working in three groups, before lunch we explored the question 'Who are we'. We had our picnic lunches to supplement the refreshments provided and the sweets Dan gave us to keep our strength up. After lunch we looked at how we could develop our church. With much common ground among the three groups, Joshua was able to distil it into three areas we could concentrate on. Our thanks to Joshua for leading us skilfully and enthusiastically through the process. It was a very rewarding experience. We finished the day with a short service of Holy Communion.
