L'Eglise St. Eugène © R Johnston

We have been worshipping in the Tarn since 2004 and in Brens since 2009.

Our regular services are all held at 11.00 am followed by coffee, and we also have regular social events where everyone is welcome. Come and join us and be part of our growing congregation.

We hold Holy Communion services on the 1st and 3rd Sunday, and Morning Prayer on the 2nd, 4th and 5th Sundays of each month.

Sunday 29th January - 11h00 - Zoom Morning Prayer led by Iain Pratt

The Fourth Sunday of Epiphany

The Readings are:-

1 Kings 17:8–16
Psalm 36:5–10
1 Corinthians 1:18–31
John 2:1–11

The Collect is

God our creator,
who in the beginning
commanded the light to shine out of darkness:
we pray that the light of the glorious gospel of Christ
may dispel the darkness of ignorance and unbelief,
shine into the hearts of all your people,
and reveal the knowledge of your glory
in the face of Jesus Christ your Son our Lord,
who is alive and reigns with you,
in the unity of the Holy Spirit,
one God, now and for ever.

Sunday 5th February - 11h00 - Holy Communion by extension celebrated by Peter Gibbs

prayer-request

Prayer is an important part of our Christian lives: it unites us as a body. Here are some suggestions for private prayer. If you have a prayer request for yourself or for someone else, with or without a name or details, please contact Robin Johnston who can be contacted on 05 63 33 12 76 or by E-mail here

    • For all who cannot afford to heat their homes.
    • For all those who cannot afford to buy food.
    • For all members of our congregation who are ill.
    • For all who are in pain and awaiting surgery.

Collection for Restos du Cœur.

For those of us who collect weekly, Resto du Coeur say that currently they really do just want food. As in the UK people are in fuel poverty too so want anything which can be microwaved or even made edible just by pouring boiling water on them. Also they have a lot of single people as customers so small sizes please!

Future Services

There will now be services at Brens on the first and third Sunday of each month and Zoom services on the second, fourth and fifth Sundays of each month.
